EnviroSense Measuring Devices

EnviroSense devices form the field layer of the system. Their role is to collect sensor data reliably, prepare a secure payload and transmit it cyclically to the server in a configuration matched to location, power and connectivity.

Role of devices in the system

Point identification

Each device works with its own identifier, allowing measurements to be assigned to a specific location or object.

Sensor selection

The point configuration depends on the measurement goal: particulate matter, gases, local conditions, light, UV, radiation or technical parameters.

Cyclic transmission

The reporting interval can be matched to data freshness requirements, power supply, network quality and transmission costs.

Field maintenance

Modular construction and clear configuration simplify service, replacement and transmission diagnostics.

Device capabilities

Multiple parameters

One device can transmit different measurement types, from temperature and humidity to PM2.5, PM10, pressure and light intensity.

Data protection

The payload can be encrypted and signed before transmission, improving security over public or unstable networks.

Flexible connectivity

Points can be designed for WiFi, GSM/LTE, SMS, LoRa or mixed scenarios, depending on available infrastructure.

Device configuration

Identifier, endpoint, keys and operating mode are prepared in device configuration, making launch repeatable.

Updates and service

Deployments can be prepared for software updates and simple module replacement in the target location.

Distributed network operation

Devices can operate in many locations simultaneously, while the server organises data by identifier and measurement time.
